George Martin had a great career as Defensive Lineman for the New York Giants and served as their team captain of Super Bowl XXI. He was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame of New Jersey in 2004 and from September of 2007 to June of 2008 walked from NYC’s George Washington Bridge to San Diego raising money for medical care for the first responders to the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attack on the United States.
