Leadership Program

A Professional Development Experience for Produce Professionals with less than 10 years of experience in the industry. The goal is to provide those selected for the program the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from both classroom and field experience.

Components of the Program within a Calendar Year

1. Visit to Grower and Port (March or April)

2. Food Safety Modernization Act Seminar (April)

3. Rutgers Farm/Classroom Experience (June & Sept)

4. New York Produce Show & Conference (December)


We will not be accepting applications for 2021. Due to the pandemic, our 2020 Class has become our 2021 Class.
